Why the Shoreline 911 Team Exists From Passion to Purpose
When Shoreline 911 began, it wasn’t a marketing move — it was a continuation of a story that started with Defenders. After years of building custom Land Rovers under Shoreline Vehicles, the same passion for design, engineering, and emotion found a new home in Porsche.
The concept for Shoreline 911 was created after our Defender builds had already proven the model worked. What started as a hobby turned into a business, and by 2023 the first 911 concepts were underway, with production beginning in late 2024.
From the start, our goal was clear — to take everything we’d learned restoring and refining Defenders and apply it to one of the greatest sports cars ever made. A Shoreline 911 isn’t just another backdate; it’s the expression of pure performance, balance, and feel — built for those who drive because they love to, not just because they can.
We never planned on Shoreline becoming what it is today, but that’s what makes the story different. One of the main reasons we remain among the most affordable in the market isn’t because we’re cutting corners — it’s because we’re enthusiasts first. We build for passion, not profit, creating cars for others who share that same obsession for driving without compromise.
This is the Shoreline way. Built once, built right, built to last.
The idea worked because it was real. There was no corporate formula, just a team of craftsmen driven by integrity, pride, and purpose. Today, Shoreline 911 carries forward that same philosophy — the belief that true quality doesn’t need a slogan, it just needs to be felt behind the wheel.
From air-cooled heritage to modern precision, Shoreline 911 exists to build cars that mean something — to rekindle the emotion of driving and make every journey unforgettable.
